The Felt Mansion (The Felt Estate) is a stunning 1920s lakeshore estate located just minutes from Lake Michigan near Holland. Built by Chicago inventor Dorr Felt as a summer retreat for his wife Agnes and their family, the Felts envisioned it as a place for family gatherings and future generations - creating a true “legacy estate” surrounded by beautiful grounds and scenic trails. Over the years, the mansion also served as St. Augustine Seminary High School, creating a unique piece of history—Robert Prevost (now Pope Leo XIV) attended the seminary here as a student.
